Very good location, the sea was fantastic also for snorkelling activities, very friendly staff from all over the world. Very clean the rooms and the common areas.

A brilliant two night stay. The best way to see the barrier reef. Loads of turtles, fish and coral whilst snorkelling. Lovely walks and food. Even got to see some whales on our return journey. Will be back

Had a wonderful time and hope to come back.

The natural beauty and excellent value for money makes up for the service and facilities

We hope to go next year

Great place to unwind. There is barely any mobile phone service which helps you unwind. They have designated Wifi areas which you have to pay for, but it is quite cheap.

The beaches are mainly coral, but the water is great. tons of marine life right around the beach. We saw turtles almost every day

The food options are very limited so I would recommend a room with a kitchen and then you bring your own food to cook most meals

beautiful island, highly recommend a stay at Fitzroy for all.

A 45 minute ferry ride will get you from Cairns to Fitzroy Island and back daily, perfect for day trips to visit the Great Barrier Reef. Of course the ferry will also get you there and back again when you’re heading to the Island for a longer holiday too.
