The tour starts at Skyrail’s Smithfield Terminal, so make your own way here, park your car and check-in with our representative. You will be issued with your Kuranda Boarding Pass, which includes your Kuranda Scenic Rail and Skyrail Rainforest Cableway tickets, as well as timings and a detailed itinerary of your day.

At your designated time of 9.45am, embark on your Skyrail Rainforest Cableway experience.

You will appreciate the beautiful scenery and you travel over and through the world heritage rainforest to Kuranda. The two stations enroute allow you to disembark and discover boardwalks through the rainforest and scenic lookouts. Once you arrive in Kuranda, you can choose how to spend your free time.

There are numerous cafes and restaurants to purchase a snack or lunch and the Heritage Markets operate daily, offering a variety of items including locally made souvenirs. There are also various attractions where you can use your discount vouchers.

Time then to hop on board the historic Kuranda Scenic Rail ready for your 2pm departure. This historic train will meander its way to Freshwater Station, passing through tunnels and past beautiful waterfalls, providing eye-catching views over Cairns. Disembark the train at Freshwater Station, where our driver is waiting to transfer you back to Skyrail and your car.
