The tour starts at Skyrail’s Smithfield Terminal, so make your own way here, park your car and check-in with our representative.

You will be issued with your Kuranda Boarding Pass, which includes your Kuranda Scenic Rail and Skyrail Rainforest Cableway tickets, as well as timings and a detailed itinerary of your day.

After a coach transfer to Freshwater Station, hop on board the historic Kuranda Scenic Rail ready for your 8.50am departure.

This historic train will meander its way to Kuranda, passing through tunnels and past beautiful waterfalls, providing eye-catching views over Cairns.

Once you arrive in Kuranda, you can choose how to spend your free time. There are numerous cafes and restaurants to purchase a snack or lunch and the Heritage Markets operate daily, offering a variety of items including locally made souvenirs. There are also various attractions where you can use your discount vouchers.

At your designated time of 3.30pm, embark on your Skyrail Rainforest Cableway experience. You will appreciate the beautiful scenery and you travel over and through the world heritage rainforest.

You can disembark at the two stations enroute, which offer boardwalks through the rainforest and scenic lookouts. Your Skyrail journey finishes at the Smithfield Terminal, where your car is waiting.
