Cocktail Bar

Fresh. Local. Delicious.

Fresh. Local. Delicious.

Zinc’s menu presents fine, contemporary Australian cuisine with traditional European flare, utilising the abundance of fresh local seafood, through to locally grown tropical fruit & vegetables.

“We are focusing on getting the best produce we can and keeping it simple is key. We don’t want to interfere too much with an already perfect product. The main ingredient of the dish will be the star and it will be done well, done right.”

Few destinations are more romantic or popular for weddings than tropical Port Douglas. Set amongst the magnificent surroundings of the Great Barrier Reef and the World Heritage Daintree Rainforest in Far North Queensland.

We will work closely with you to plan every detail of your wedding, our dedicated teams in the kitchen and on the floor will ensure the quality of food, wine and service you receive on the day is second to none.

Zinc Restaurant & Lounge Bar Reviews

Amanda Adams

I have been several times since their reopening under the new ownership of Chris and Dani. Haven’t been disappointed. Everything is amazing. The restaurant set up and bar area are very comfortable. The menu caters for everyone. I can highly recommend the Pork Belly and the Seafood Linguine. You must remember to leave room for the Chocolate Torte- it is divine! There is an extensive cocktail and wine list. The service is outstanding. Do yourself a favour and book yourself a table today!

Zinc is back !! I was lucky enough to be invited to the Grand Opening of the Newly Re-furbished Under New Ownership Zinc. Chris, Dani, Adam and the team have done an amazing job of bringing new life to this Port Douglas Institution. The wine list is amazing, cocktails fantastic and the menu looks incredible. If the canapes we had are any indication, (and I know they are) then the food here will be sublime. I highly recommend this as a 'must do' restaurant for anyone visiting Port, and for locals looking for a new (old) favorite. I look forward to many nights dining and drinking here again.
