About Your Guide
Welcome! My name is Cherene Poidevin and since 2017 I have lived and guided in the Whitsundays. Driftwood Tours has come about after working in the outdoor recreation and tourism industry for 30 years.

With my experience and continual curiosity and love of learning about the landscape, cultural history, fun facts and sharing them with people, owning and running my own tours was a natural evolution.

In particular, I know the value of small personal tours where you can explore hidden gems as well as the known highlights.

Every day is someone’s first day experiencing this particular landscape and that keeps it exciting. I pride myself on my passion for guiding and always aim to give high quality experiences to guests.

It is a dream to be able to showcase this amazing piece of paradise to guests while having fun along the way.
