The Fitzroy Island Ferry operates three times a day in each direction, giving travellers the flexibility to choose a one way trip that suits their schedule. Whether you're heading to the island for a day visit, joining friends already on the island, or planning a stay at Fitzroy Island Resort, the one way option offers a reliable and comfortable 45-minute transfer on an air-conditioned catamaran. Fitzroy Island is home to hiking trails, snorkelling spots, and a range of activities available from the Fitzroy Island Sports Hub.

Proceed down the wharf from the Reef Fleet Terminal and turn left at the end. The Fitzroy Flyer departs halfway down on your right.

Things To Do on Fitzroy Island
Once on the island, visitors can rent snorkelling gear, kayaks or paddleboards at the Fitzroy Island Sports Hub. Hiking tracks like the Secret Garden Walk or Summit Lighthouse Trail are free to access. Fish feeding happens daily at 11:30am and 4:00pm from the Jetty.

Great experience
The vessel was on time for both departure and on Return. The crew wee very professional and helpful. The Air-Conditioning onboard was a nice touch. Thank you we will be back one day for sure.
Quick and efficient
Boat trip was fine. Island was nice. Great that the beach is minimal and natural. Bring plenty of water!
The trip down is fantastic. Fistroy island is one the best place to visit. And the trip to and fro is on time and pleasant.
For anyone who does not like a bumpy ride, esp when water is rough can consider to sit at the back row
