Rainforestation Nature Park
The award-winning Rainforestation Nature Park in Kuranda is home to three iconic experiences in one park; Army Duck rainforest tours, the Pamagirri Aboriginal Experience and the Koala and Wildlife Park.

Board an authentic amphibious World War 2 Army duck and explore the rainforest on land and in water. Your Army Duck guide will tell you about various rainforest flora and fauna, before splashing into our lake!

Meet an abundance of Australian animals in Rainforestation’s Koala and Wildlife Park, including Tasmanian Devils, Koalas, Crocodiles and the endangered Lumholtz’s Tree Kangaroo. Hand feed Wallabies and Kangaroos.

The Pamagirri Experience recently won gold in the Queensland Tourism Awards for Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Tourism. This authentic Aboriginal experience includes a traditional dance performance in a rainforest amphitheatre and a Dreamtime Walk with a spear throwing presentation, didgeridoo presentation and boomerang throwing.

Wildlife Habitat Port Douglas
Get up close to an abundance of Australian animals in their recreated natural habitats at Wildlife Habitat Port Douglas. This eco accredited wildlife park has the ethos: observation, appreciation, conservation.

The park has five unique, spacious recreated ecosystems- woodlands, wetlands, rainforest, nocturnal and savannah, allowing you to immerse yourself in their environment.

The park is home to over 100 Australian species, including the endangered Cassowary and Lumholtz’s Tree Kangaroos.

Guests can hand feed Wallabies and Kangaroos and enjoy wildlife presentations throughout the day.

Australian Butterfly Sanctuary
Be surrounded by 1500 free-flying butterflies at the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary, an all-weather attraction in the heart of Kuranda Village.

Join a guided aviary tour and learn more about the colourful resident species, including the bright green Cairns Birdwing. Visit the breeding laboratory and see caterpillars in all their stages of development.

Cairns ZOOM & Wildlife Dome
Cairns ZOOM & Wildlife Dome is the world’s first high ropes course in a wildlife park.

Wander around the dome and be surrounded by an abundance of free-flying birds. Meet cheeky cockatoos, cuddly koalas and say g’day to our giant crocodile, Goliath.

Learn more about our resident animals with our keeper-guided presentations.

The Annual Pass holders also get 20% off all ZOOM activities.
