This tour is for cruise ship passengers arriving via tender at Yorkeys Knob. It includes a one-way journey on Skyrail Rainforest Cableway and a return journey on the Kuranda Scenic Railway and return shuttle transfers. 

Overview
A shuttle picks up from the front steps of the Yorkeys Knob Boating Club and transfers you to Skyrail’s Smithfield Terminal.
Travel on Skyrail over the rainforest canopy with stops at Red Peak and Barron Falls before arriving in Kuranda.
Enjoy time in the village before boarding the Kuranda Scenic Railway for a historic train ride back to Freshwater Station.
A return shuttle will then take you back to Yorkeys Knob in time for your ship’s tender.

Skyrail will meet all pre-booked cruise ship passengers at Yorkeys Knob. Once you’re on the tender, contact Skyrail to confirm your pickup — their contact details are in your booking confirmation.
Pickup and return times are arranged to suit your ship’s schedule.

The Kuranda Scenic Railway departs Kuranda at 2:00pm and 3:30pm.
The 2:00pm departure fits well with most cruise ship schedules. It arrives at Freshwater Station at approximately 3:30pm, allowing enough time for your return shuttle to Yorkeys Knob before your ship’s final tender.

Kuranda Scenic Railway
Board the Kuranda Scenic Railway at 2:00pm for a scenic journey through the rainforest and past waterfalls. The train arrives at Freshwater Station at approximately 3:30pm, where your return transfer awaits.

Return Transfer to Yorkeys Knob
A coach collects you from Freshwater Station and returns you to the Yorkeys Knob Boating Club in time for your ship’s tender.

Important Note: Please ensure you check your ship arrival and departure times. Usually cruise ships require you to be back on board 1 hour before departure.

Skyrail gondola cabins can accommodate most standard type wheelchairs. Due to size restrictions, some types may not be suitable. Skyrail can provide complimentary use of a wheelchair (subject to availability). Please advise at the time of booking. Wheelchair access on the coach is limited. A wheelchair accessible taxi may be required.
