Along the way, passengers can enjoy commentary about the railway, the region and the history of this remarkable engineering achievement.

Freshwater Connection Station
Freshwater Connection is a popular departure and arrival point for the Kuranda Scenic Railway.
Set among tropical gardens and heritage railway carriages, it is a relaxed place to begin or finish the journey to Kuranda.
The station was built as a tribute to the pioneers who constructed the Kuranda Scenic Railway between 1887 and 1891.

These people are FANTASTIC!!! Hugely helpful to my wife and I after a bit of a struggle with the opposition not doing their job. Highly recommend Travstar and have already done so to friends on their way to Cairns now.
