The Bramwell Tourist Park offers plenty of cold beer and great meals, as well as campgrounds and accommodation units in a picturesque Cape York setting, adjacent to the original homestead and cattle yards. Often, there is live entertainment at the Bar, so don’t be surprised to get caught up in the fun at night. At the station’s Tourist Park, the ringing of the station’s bell signals happy hour at the licenced Bar, and the start of many an entertaining evening during its busy season. Evenings at the Tourist Park usually kick off with a station chat during happy hour to introduce the property to visitors.

Moreton Telegraph Station

Moreton Telegraph Station is located on the Wenlock River in the centre of Cape York Peninsula just 293 kilometres from Cape York ('The Tip'), the Australian mainland's most northerly point. The spacious and shady 6 hectare (15 acre) clearing in natural bushland provides ample space for adventurous travellers looking for a tranquil camping spot and hot shower after a hard day's drive. Musgrave Roadhouse

Offering good old fashioned hospitality the Musgrave Roadhouse, located in the Cape York Peninsula, is owned and operated by one of the early pioneering families of the region - the Shepards. Serving fuel and food 7 days a week from 7:30am – 10:00pm the roadhouse also serves a cold beer in its licensed cafe .

HopeVale Arts & Cultural Centre

In 2009, the new Hopevale Arts and Cultural Centre was opened, along with the Nganthanun Bamawi Bayan Gallery which displays locally produced arts, crafts and artifacts as well as a workshop space for local artists. The centre is open and accessible to all Hopevale community members to pursue their interest in art and maintain their unique culture. The Centre is often used for community events, meetings, workshops and private functions.

Gondwana Choirs

Gondwana Choirs is the leader in Australian choral performance, shaping the Australian sound through the creation and presentation of innovative new work, and providing opportunities to all talented young Australians through world-class training by leading artists. Gondwana Choirs comprises the most accomplished choral groups of young people in Australia. Founded by Artistic Director Lyn Williams OAM as Sydney Children’s Choir in 1989, the organisation has grown to include Gondwana National Choirs and Gondwana Indigenous Children’s Choirs. The organisation has commissioned over 150 works by leading Australian composers and performs a significant number of Australian compositions each year nationally and internationally. Singers from all three arms of the organisation, Sydney Children’s Choir, Gondwana National Choirs and Gondwana Indigenous Children’s Choir, have joined together on several occasions, most notably in 2014 with Sydney Symphony Orchestra for the world premiere performances of Jandamarra: Sing for the Country by Paul Stanhope. Gondwana Choirs is the proud holder of the APRA/AMCOS award for Excellence by an Organisation for its 2014 Artistic Program and significant contribution to Australian music since 1989.
